New Role – SysAdmin Wanted

We are looking for an experienced SysAdmin to join our fast growth business. You will work directly with our Head of Tech to support the development, and maintenance of our back-end services as we move towards more cutting edge technologies, which you will help make decisions on. You will need to be highly knowledgable with Linux, scripting languages (NodeJS), and deployment/orchestration processes (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)

The ideal candidate is looking for a challenge, self motivated and excited to be part of a new team developing our future architecture/stack.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong linux system admin experience, in a multi-server environment.
Solid experience supporting websites using LAMP stack.
Experience with automation infrastructure provisioning and management tools (Chef/Puppet/Ansible)
Knowledge of core networking concepts like Network Design, Reverse Proxies, Firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN’s, NAT, Routing and Nginx.
Experience with Cloudflare
Moderate knowledge of database management (MySql, CloudSql, Postgres)
Ability to manage workload affectively, and be self motivated.
Good scripting knowledge and experience in NodeJS

Nice to haves:

Experience in developing within the Digital Ocean cloud for commercial environments.
Good knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, etc.)
Keen on the DevOps mentality/process, and agile
Great communicator, with an ability to work effectively within a team
